Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions about our custom window and door packages, ordering process, and service area.
1. Q: Do you sell stock windows, or is everything custom made?
A: Every package is custom manufactured for your project based on your approved plans, opening sizes, styles, finishes and glass specifications. We do not sell off-the-shelf stock windows.
2. Q: What areas do you serve?
A: We serve Charleston, Mount Pleasant, Myrtle Beach, Hilton Head Island, and Beaufort.
3. Q: How long does it take to receive my windows and doors after ordering?
A: Every window package is manufactured specifically for your project using the approved opening schedule, configurations, finishes and glass specifications. Normal production and delivery is approximately eight weeks after final approval.
4. Q: Why does production take about eight weeks?
A: This timeframe reflects custom manufacturing and coordination for your specific project, not a shipping delay.
5. Q: What do I need to provide to get a quote?
A: Share your architectural drawings or window schedule, including opening sizes, styles, and performance requirements, and our team will prepare a preliminary quotation.
6. Q: Can I make changes to my order after I've approved it?
A: Changes requested after final approval can affect both cost and completion dates. Schedules may also be affected by product selections, revisions, production conditions, and freight.
7. Q: Do you handle installation, or only supply the windows?
A: Our process includes coordinated delivery and professional installation, along with ongoing support after your project is complete.
8. Q: Do you work with builders and general contractors on custom home projects?
A: Yes, we work directly with builders and contractors on custom home and renovation projects throughout our service area.
